नई दिल्ली:- भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) के गवर्नर शक्तिकांत दास ने बुधवार को फीचर फोन्स के लिए डिजिटल पेमेंट सिस्टम की घोषणा की। उन्होंने आरबीआई की रिटेल डायरेक्ट स्कीम के लिए यूपीआई पेमेंट्स की सीमा दो लाख रुपये से बढ़ा कर पांच लाख रुपये करने की भी घोषणा की। दास ने कहा कि डेबिट-क्रेडिट कार्ड्स, वॉलेट्स और यूपीआई जैसे पेमेंट्स सिस्टम को लेकर जल्द ही एक डिस्कशन पेपर जारी किया जाएगा।
भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक के गवर्नर ने कहा कि बैंक अपनी विदेशी शाखाओं में बिना रिजर्व बैंक की अनुमति के पूंजी डाल सकेंगे और प्रॉफिट भी देश ला सकेंगे। आपको बता दें कि RBI ने बुधवार को हुई द्विमासिक मौद्रिक नीति समीक्षा में महत्वपूर्ण दरों में कोई बदलाव नहीं किया है।
रिजर्व बैंक ने बुधवार को अपनी मौद्रिक नीति की द्विमासिक समीक्षा पेश की। भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक के गवर्नर शक्तिकांत दास ने कहा कि केंद्रीय बैंक ने प्रमुख ब्याज दरों में 9वीं बार कोई बदलाव नहीं किया है। इससे पहली हुई मौद्रिक नीति समीक्षा में भी रिजर्व बैंक ने प्रमुख ब्याज दरों में कोई बदलाव नहीं किया था। आपको बता दें कि रिजर्व बैंक ने रेपो रेट (Repo Rate) को 4 प्रतिशत और रिवर्स रेपो रेट (Reverse Repo Rate) को 3.35 फीसदी पर बरकरार रखा है।
जीडीपी ग्रोथ को लेकर आरबीआई गवर्नर शक्तिकांत दास ने कहा कि इस अनुमान को 2021-22 के लिए 9.5 फीसद रखा गया है, जो तीसरी तिमाही में 6.6 फीसद और चौथी तिमाही के लिए 6 फीसद थी। उन्होंने कहा कि वास्तविक जीडीपी ग्रोथ का अनुमान 2022-23 की पहली तिमाही के लिए 17.2 फीसद बना हुआ है। वहीं, दूसरी तिमाही में यह 7.8 फीसद रहेगा।
